Every day we destroy something beautiful, every day we create something beautiful. That’s who we are. As an Iranian woman who lived in different cities and countries and came across various cultures and languages, my fears of immigration and identity issues have increasingly turned my attention to personal space, and its significance.
In my artwork I narrate the stories of uncertainties that border Diasporas create in my life. The stories that reflect the pains of loss of personal space and identity.
I use documentary structures; I work with video, performance, text, film and writing.
